Mass Animal Fund Poster Contest
In an effort to use art to end animal homelessness, students created posters and submitted them to the Massachusetts Animal Fund poster contest. Students promoted "Line 32F" encouraging people to make a donation on line 32F when filing taxes. Donations go to spay and neuter cats and dogs for free, reducing animal homelessness. Our own Lillie Ferreira won first place for her hand-drawn poster.
Here are some of the posters submitted as well as photos from the awards ceremony in March at the Swansea YMCA:

Somerset Garden Club Event
Level 1 Art Foundations students worked on pieces to exhibit at the Somerset Garden Club Spring Show in March 2016. Students chose to create a vintage inspired fashion illustration OR a vintage inspired "TRASHION" piece for the show (a garment made from recycled materials). Check out some of their work!
